However, one instance is peculiarly frustrating and hence worth mentioning. It was a community meeting where all our society members had gathered together. There was little elbow room left as everyone was tightly squashed. The plight of the growing number of street dogs in our locality was the reason behind this meeting.Who/what made the noise?The discussion however took an unfateful turn and people attending the meeting were soon divided into two groups. It all started when some dog lovers were targeted for feeding the stray dogs. The question and answer session soon turned into an ugly clamor.What the noise was like?There were uproars being heard even outside the meeting room. The meeting hall was thronging with people shouting at the top of their voices. The whole situation seemed like a mob scene. Everyone was shouting and a lot of confusion was created.What you did?A few members along with me were trying to silence the hubbub. Eventually, it was with great efforts that this commotion seemed to die down.And explain how you felt about it?Sadly this meeting did not at all meet the expectations and opened up the pandora’s box of community dispute. It wasn’t a good experience. I felt down in the dumps and my heart sank. It felt like people had lost empathy for each other.
