Dragon and Mouse: The Meeting of Two Different Worlds
Gürbüz Kayhan
Once upon a time, in a distant forest, there lived a colossal creature named Dragon. The Dragon was a majestic being covered in azure scales, possessing the ability to breathe fire. Deep within the forest, it resided in a massive cave. The villagers feared the Dragon, avoiding any encounters. On the other side of the forest, a tiny Mouse lived. The Mouse, with its brown fur and delicate whiskers, was an endearing creature. It inhabited the quiet corners of the forest, always evading human presence. The paths of the Dragon and the Mouse had never crossed—until that fateful day.During a stormy night, the Dragon’s cave trembled violently. Awakened from its slumber, the Dragon stepped outside, squinting against the blinding darkness. In the heart of the forest, a faint glimmer of light caught its attention. That light emanated from the Mouse’s den.Curious, the Dragon approached the Mouse. Trembling with fear, the Mouse spoke bravely: “Hello, I am Mouse. I don’t know you, but I wanted to talk.”The Dragon, bewildered, asked, “Why? Why did you find the courage to speak to me?”The Mouse smiled and replied, “Because everyone sees you as a fearsome monster. But I believe there’s something more within you. Perhaps we could be friends.”The Dragon felt warmth within—it was the first time someone had glimpsed its goodness. From that day on, the Dragon and the Mouse became best friends. The Dragon reserved its flames for moments of danger, while the Mouse explored the forest atop the Dragon’s back.Their friendship influenced the forest’s inhabitants. The Dragon transformed from a dreaded figure into a protective guardian. The Mouse, with courage and love, won everyone’s hearts. And so, the friendship between the Dragon and the Mouse continued, bridging two different worlds for eternity.
