Have you ever wondered how water is been treated

Water is pumped from natural sources, such as rivers or wells, into a temporary storage tank. From here, it is transported to a sophisticated treatment plant, where it undergoes multiple stages of purification, including sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection. Once treated, the purified water is pumped into a secondary tank for safe storage. The entire process is controlled and monitored from a control room, ensuring precise measurement and distribution to households.Meanwhile, LPG gas is stored in dedicated tanks and used to fuel a generator that converts the gas into electricity. This electricity is carefully regulated through a transformer, which is connected to the control room and then distributed to meet household power needs. On the sewage side, household waste from kitchens, bathrooms, and toilets flows into a septic tank connected to a biodigester. Inside the biodigester, microorganisms like methanogens break down organic waste, producing biogas and digestate over a retention period of 10 to 20 days. The biogas is collected and compressed into storage tanks, from where it is distributed to households. In a circular process, wastewater is recycled back into the water treatment plant for further purification, improving water quality. Additionally, organic waste from water treatment is sent to the biodigester as feedstock, enhancing biogas production. Finally, the leftover sewage is gathered, processed, and used as fertilizer or sold as manure.
