Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,Today, I want to talk to you about the power of forgiveness. In Matthew 6:14-15, Jesus says, For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.Forgiveness is not always easy, but it is essential for our spiritual growth and well-being. When we hold onto grudges and unforgiveness, it can weigh us down and prevent us from experiencing the fullness of God's love and grace.Forgiveness doesn't mean forgetting what happened or excusing someone's wrongdoing. It means releasing the hold that sin has on us and trusting God to bring justice and restoration.In Colossians 3:13, Paul says, Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. We are called to forgive others as God has forgiven us.Let us choose to forgive others and ourselves, and may God bless us with a deeper understanding of His grace and mercy, in Jesus' name. Amen.
