Telling the story of the lion and the mouse
Nai Shabu
A lion was waken up by a mouse running over his face. Getting up angrily, he caught him and was about to kill him, when the mouse pleaded, “If you would spare my life, I will repay your kindness.” The lion laughed and let him go.Shortly after this some hunter caught the lion and tied him up with a strong rope. The mouse, hearing his roar, came and chewed the rope with his teeth and set him free.“You thought the idea of my ever being able to help you was silly. You never expected any repayment from me for your favor. Now you know it is possible even for a mouse to help a lion.”
